Automatic adaptive control of tobacco bulk curing

Bulgarian Academy of Science, Institute of Genetics, Sofia, Bulgaria.
The combination of optimum tobacco quality curing conditions with energy saving requirements led to the development of an adaptive automatic curing control. The system, using no wet bulb thermometer, keeps a constant value of air moisture content (dew point) during all phases of the process. Quality curing goes along with fuel saving and curing time reduction.
