ILTD's chief scientist reflects on the impact of global warming on tobacco. While much has been written about whether or not the world is suffering from long-term, irreversible and damaging climate change caused mainly by human activity, fewer column inches have been devoted to the micro issues that such a debate raises: Will, for instance, tobacco production have to be uprooted to new areas in the future?
