Determination of acetamiprid and imidacloprid residues in tobacco by UPLC-MS/MS

The residues of acetamiprid and imidacloprid in 31 tobacco samples were determined. The tobacco sample was extracted with acetic acid-acetonitrile, then cleaned up with matrix solid-phase dispersion extraction, and detected by UPLC- MS/MS. The results showed that: 1) The limits of detection were 0.01mg/kg for both pesticides, the average recoveries of acetamiprid and imidacloprid were in the range of 91.6% to 102.5% and 90.1% to 102.1% with the relative standard deviations of 3.59% to 4.52% and 3.85% to 4.47%, respectively. 2) The detection rates of acetamiprid and imidacloprid residues were about one fifth and one fourth in 31 tobacco samples, the detected levels ranged from 15.5 to 243.1 ?g/kg and from 22.4 to 179.5 ?g/kg, respectively.
