Fourteen (14) fungicides in field application were used in Greece (Drama, Kavala, and Agrinion regions) against Blue Mold of tobacco, in a four-year experimentation (1979-1982). Of the chemicals tested : Ridomil 25 W.P., Ridomil 58 W.P. and Ridomil MZ 63.5 W.P., in all rates and modes of applications used, gave excellent results; Maneb 80% and Ortho 9955 gave very good protection; Bravo 6F 72%, RE 20615 50 W.P., Galben-M 17-54, Galben 25 W.P. (spray), Galben-M 8-65 + Mancozeb 72, Galben-M 8-65, and Galben-Z 8-65 gave partial protection. Under the conditions of this experimentation, none of the fungicides tested was phytotoxic.
