Reaction of flue-cured tobacco in yield and quality components to form of nitrogen and manner of application

The results obtained in this experiment indicate that for growing flue-cured tobacco in Croatia, without irrigation, nitrogen fertilizer should contain not less than 50 % of ammonium nitrogen and that the application of chemical fertilizers should be in bands.
