Four positions of four Burley cultivars Burley 21, HLN, ClO3 and CO3 were investigated in this study. Each leaf position of every cultivar was divided into three commercial grades plus out-grade. Physical and chemical characteristics of obtained samples were determined using standard methods. Data showed that, generally, variability depends on differences among leaf positions. Correlations among leaf positions, cultivars, tobacco chemical and physical characteristics were found.
