Evaluation of the effectiveness of displacement ventilation and other control technologies in providing acceptable indoor air quality when internally generated substances, including ETS, are present. Performance criteria, experimental protocol and results will be discussed. Indoor environmental models, future trends, and their impact on building design, operation, and life-cycle cost will be discussed.
