A technique which offers an easy and rapid method for moisture analysis of T.P.M. has been developed. The necessity for immediate analysis after smoking has been eliminated. The method also allows several moisture determinations on a single sample. Through the use of the gas chromatographic method, a large number of samples can be analyzed for moisture with a high degree precision in a relatively short period of time.
