In order to improve the processing quality, the experiments on Yunnan tobacco leaves at different recirculated air temperature in ordering cylinder were carried out, and the physical and sensory quality of tobacco leaves under different processing conditions were investigated, the result showed that: 1) in terms of physical processing quality, the temperature and loosening ratio of output tobacco increased gradually with the increase of recirculated air temperature, and the appropriate temperature was over 68°; 2) in terms of sensory quality, recirculated air temperature affected the aromatic, smoke and mouth feeling characteristics of tobacco leaves at different degrees, the sensory quality of Yunnan tobacco would be improved when recirculated air temperature was under 64°; 3) the ordering cylinder now in use is incompetent for keeping the sensory quality of Yunnan tobacco and raising its physical quality, such as loosening ratio, in one process step.
