Risk evaluation of cigarette based on multi-objective decision
To establish an evaluation method for the health risk of smoking, the deliveries of tar, seven harmful components and four toxicological indexes of 20 domestic and 5 foreign cigarette samples were tested. The health risk of samples was evaluated by their intimate data, an index transformed from four toxicological indexes, on the basis of the theory of multi-objective decision. The relationships between intimate data and tar delivery and the hazard indexes derived from the deliveries of the seven harmful components were investigated. The results showed that: 1) The intimate data of cigarette presented weak correlation with tar delivery. 2) The health risk of cigarette samples evaluated by intimate data basically agreed with that by hazard index. The intimate data method could be used to evaluate the health risk of cigarette.
