Twenty insecticides against wireworms on Burley tobacco in the field, at different rates and modes of application, were tested, for evaluation of their effectiveness. The materials used, are grouped in four categories according to their efficacy, Terbufos (COUNTER 5G), Ethoprop (MOCAP 6 E.C.) and Chlormephos (DOTAN 5G) being the best among them.
